Question

was just wondering what settings people had the four set to in game and if it was running smooth for them ?

My current setting is set to Ultra and it's performing really well 👍💪

Here are my Ultra settings (after setting overall to Ultra, there are still some settings available to crank up).
I set everything to max available, except SSR, it caused slightly lower fps for me.

RAM is the biggy with this game, 16GB they recommend. I'm running a 3.6 ghz with 960 OC 4GB it's just the RAM that makes it stutter now and again, more RAM inbound!

Also guys what you have your GPU set to in the terms of quality/performance makes a HUGE difference, been testing is all day.

In your Nvidia control panel, mine was set to quality which tries to apply antialiasing ect, which currently doesn't make that much difference in EFT, turning it to performance I had 125 FPS in the menu and 40 - 60+ in-game.

It worked for me aswell.
The lowest av fps now is about 36, and the overall av fps is from 40-60. You can really feel the difference.
It's also going up to 80 til 90 fps sometimes, so that's cool :D

Further to this I have now actually set it to let the 3D application decide, which then actually uses the settings in EFT. I just did a stream with it and yes there were drops but overall it was good I think, bearing in mind it was on Customs which has known FPS issues at the moment.

i change it in here with each game that needs it rather than the whole pc, change the power setting to max performance

All you are doing there bud is changing the settings like you would in-game, maybe adding settings like antialising etc which will cost you FPS but not make any difference in the game itself as there is no option for it in the game, if that makes sense. Setting it to the 3D application basically means in the game itself.

That's how I understand it away lol
